The core of Intelligent Rotary Steerable Drilling tool is the orientation tool, the orientation tool is made up by three ribs which are into a 120°angle of each, and its hydraulic cylinder drive. At present, the power of hydraulic comes from the circulation pressure of Drilling mud.Because the power is limited by the circulation pressure, therefor use the motor pump as the power of hydraulic, the power of the motor pump supply from the turbine generators underground. The Motor pump is installed onto the irrotational case, while the turbine generator is installed onto the main shaft, so it involves the issue of electricity transmission under the conditon of relative rotation. It introduces the Contactless Inductive Power Transfer system in this paper, and solved this problem of energy transfer during existing relative rotation.The Contactless Inductive Power Transfer system is a new type Technology about energy transfer, providing power to the load by electromagnetic coupling. It based on the researches abroad and home, Designded Contactless Inductive Power Transfer system From reality, which includes Inverter source, detachable transformer and other key components. Especially simulated with detachable transformer by Ansys, Summed up factors which impacting power transmission efficiency, and carried out a detailed theoretical analysis with compensation circuit. At last, verified this system can improve Power transmission efficiency greatly based on the original system by experimentsDuring the development of this subject, builded up the system of Contactless Inductive Power Transfer, and summarized some methods of improving. It has some reference values on solving the energy transmission problems of using the motor pump to drive the ribs.
