This paper studies two-warehouse (one is own warehouse (OW); the other is rented warehouse (RW)) inventory models under the intermittent shipment pattern. The deteriorating items which have more practically meaning are emphatically analyzed.Incremental quantity discounts and delay in payments are discussed as important factors that make inventory manager to enlarge order quantity, and the deteriorating items in two warehouses have different deterioration ratio under different conditions. The paper considers incremental quantity discounts for the cases that items whose demand rate changes over time or that is constant. Furthermore, the shortages and non-shortages models are developed under the situation of unchangeable demand rate, and the shortages and abundance models are also developed under the situation of demand being function of time. Under condition of delay in payments, the paper develops unchangeable demand rate and non-shortages model. The two-warehouse inventory models in this paper just consider transport costs within two-warehouse system. Items shipping from RW to OW employs intermittent shipment pattern which has more practically meaning than continuous shipment pattern.Considering the conditions above, the corresponding models are developed and solved through theoretical analysis or mathematical tool.
