In recent years, bridge construction is developing rapidly at home and abroad, design of a growing number of bridge structures has leaded into the concept of combination of materials segment successfully. With the elevation of use function, the increase of ability to across, the optimization of structural system in the bridge construction, the concept of combination of materials segment, the materials segment combination will be an inevitable tendency of the bridge construction in the future, and it can give full play to material properties, achieve the optimal combination of structure and reduce cost.This article takes the Baisha River Bridge of rail traffic on the 6th line in Guangzhou as the project example, it uses the method which combines the theoretical analysis, FEM simulation and the experiment, has studied the fatigue performance of the single rib arch steel-concrete joint and the stress transfer informations of different materials of the connector.Firstly, it introduces some relevant theoretical knowledge of fatigue briefly. It includes the concept and classification of fatigue, fatigue damage mechanism and process, fatigue life curve, analyzes the main factors which affect fatigue of construction and general computational method of fatigue cumulative damage theory.Secondly, it goes to calculate load spectrum by fatigue design theory, the actual amplitude cyclic loading is transformed into the constant amplitude cyclic loading; Numerical simulation of the prototype and the test model is done by finite element software, then according to comparing the results of numerical simulation with the mechanical properties of the actual designed structure, the experiment design is consummated.Finally, it checks the design of the single rib arch steel-concrete joint in the Baisha River Bridge on fatigue performance and intensity through the great proportion structured model experiment. According to related specifications, the results of numerical simulation and experimental results, the fatigue performance and intensity are tested and verified. It is expected to give some references to people the same field.
