Pollen surface proteins are involved in the recognition between pollens and stigma, and play crucial roles in plant growth and reproduction. In this paper, Arabidopsis pollen surface proteins in other spieces have been parallelly moved to Arabidopsis. Three bioinformatic approaches have been used to predict pollen surface proteins. Then these data were integrated with known and putative Arabidopsis pollen surface-located protein data including the annotation. Functional classification and expression analysis of all intergrated proteins in database have also been processed. Besides, T-DNA insertion mutant lines of pollen surface proteins have been purchased, and through T-DNA insertion and locus analysis, 96 homozygous mutant lines have been acquired. The intergration of pollen surface proteins will facilitate the further research on molecular mechanism of pollen-stigma recognition. The 96 homozygous mutant lines will promote the knowledge about the molecular mechanism of pollen-stigma adhesion, pollen-stigma recognition and pollen germination.
