The paper studies Ediacaran Sedimentary Paleogeography in Mid-Yangtze area and its evolution, and the main cognition acquired go as follows:1. The carbonatites of Mid-Yangtze Ediacaran is divided into 8 types of sedimentary micro-facies, that are dolomicrite, dolomitic breccia, algae sand cutting dolomite, extremely fine -fine crystalline dolomite, sparry intraclastic dolomite, oolitic dolomite, micrite dolomite and micrite.In order to deposit the ancient geography research to lay the solid foundation.2. In Ediacaran of Mid-Yangtze area, I figured out three facies regions (carbonatite platforms, slope and shelf), which specifically include four facies zones (restricted-evaporation platform, open platform, platform-foreslope and deep-water shelf) and several microfacies.Has reappeared the Mid-Yangzi area Ediacaran discipline ancient geography pattern.3. I discussed Ediacaran paleogeography evolution in Mid-Yangtze in the paper. Thought that the Mid-Yangzi area Ediacaran discipline lithic facies ancient geography pattern is inherits in the Southern China discipline foundation and develops. The Southern China discipline end, melts along with the glacier, the ingression scope expands gradually, in the Doushantuo formation initial period the Mid-Yangzi area sea water is shallow, the ancient geography appearance is more homogeneous. Doushantuo formation the base universal growth zhi shell structure's tidal flat carbonate rocks, on crosswise may carry on the contrast, but entered the Doushantuo formation intermediate stage, the later period ancient geographical environment to have the rapid change.
