Mozi Gully that located at Ergali township Jinchuan county Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province is a tributary of Zhuosijia River on the left side. The Zhuosijia proposed hydropower station is on the left side of the Mozi Gully outfall, which is the seventh of eight hydropower Station planned in the Zhuosijia River. If Mozii Gully breaks debris flow in the future that will threat plant construction and operation of the hydropower station. So it is necessary investigating Mozi Gully debris flow's nature surroundings, predicting the happening possibility and the breaking out scale and its risk for hydropower station, based on this ,roposing site to ensure the safety of station.The thesis formulates the Mozi Gully debris flow Geological Characteristics and development characteristics, and evaluates Susceptibility with existing results.Based on this, fully into the comparison, it is selected that the most suitable calculation formula for the region to calculating movement and power characteristics such as Mozi Gully debris flow velocity in different Rainstorm conditions, the impact force, peak flow , total flow ... According to the debris flow movement characteristics and gully characteristics of the Mozi Gully , debris flow the debris flow destructive effects mainly consist up impact and deposit. Effect measure is used to Hazard Analysis of Mozi Gully debris flow, and the calculated results were compared to calculated results of existing formula. To the Mozi Gully stability gully bad as the debris flow deposit slope, it is predicted debris flow piled up areas under different frequency of heavy rains, and with the traditional formula for calculating the results were compared.according to "the general analysis, the reasonable division, the security economy" principle and Conditions combined with Mozi Gully debris flow of development environment, movement characteristics and the pile up areas ,the Prevention and control program is offerred that uses of bar screen dam,blocking dam and guiding tunnel.
