Correlated imaging has been an attention-getting subject in recent yeas. At first"ghost"imaging with entanglement two-photon was deemed as a non-local phenomenon in quantum theory and entanglement was deemed as a prerequisite for achieving distributed"ghost"imaging. However,"ghost"imaging with thermal light was proposed last several years and was supported by experiment later. This provides a more amplitude resource for correlated imaging and a controversy involved classical theory and quantum theory of correlated imaging, too.In this dissertation, we work on the theory and experiment of the physics of correlated imaging. The main content includes:1. Briefly review the history of correlated imaging and some concepts involved. And compares correlated imaging with the classical imaging.(Chapter one)2. Based on the statistic model of thermal light, we research on the theory in HBT experiment of thermal light and pseudo-thermal light and we also give the result of HBT experiment with pseudo-thermal light.(Chapter two)3. We accomplish correlated imaging and lensless fourier imaging in experiment. To interpret the correlated phenomenon in thermal light we give a unify model, which provides a very simple picture. And we also design a new experiment based on the picture of our model. The experimental results accord with our model.(Chapter three)4. To understand the essence of correlated imaging in photon picture, we compare three correlated imaging schemes. This analyse provides a clear picture for understanding the role of entanglement and classical correlation in correlated imaging. We also analyse the photon picture of thermal light correlated imaging, and provides a more profound interpretation of thermal light correlated imaging with the principle of quantum mechanics.(Chapter four)...
