The study of volcanic reservoir is one of the new research fields home and broad as a complicated and special oil and gas reservoir. Many problems need to be further studied. According to the basin of hailaer, this issue will predict the favorable hydrocarbon exploration zones in wuerxun-beier depression. The volcanic rocks are developed in wuerxun-beier depression of hailaer basin, controlled of fault and distributed along the fault. There is a few or no far from fault. It is considered that volcanic rocks are mainly distributed in Group Tongbomiao and Nantun. There are mainly andesite, basalt or volcanic breccia. The lith-facies are mainly explosive facies, effusive facies or volcanic sedimentary facies. The electrical property of volcanic rock is very distinctness. To distinguish from clatic rock and mudstone, the volcanic rock is characterized by high resistance, high density, high velocity, low gammaray and low acoustictime in well logging curves. Cross plot is used to identify volcanics lithology. At the same time, the seimics characteristic is also distinctness, and easily to be identified and interpreted.Studying show that there are many types of reservoir space in volcanic reservoir. Porsosity and permeability of the volcanic rock is well, and can be considered as effective reservoirs relatively. The volcanic rock is superexcellence in borefilds of bei47 and baxie2. Moreover, the porsosity and permeability is the best and neighbour the depression of unboiled oil. It will can be generated volcanic hydrocarbon reservoir if there is communication path as fault and surface of unconformity. So borefilds of bei47 and baxie2 are the favorable volcanic hydrocarbon exploration zones.
