Based on borehole data and field investigation of Huagou west detailed mine, study the main coal seam deposition and the sedimentary environment system, and the law of the coal seam occurrence. Based on the research of the impact factors to the coal seam and the quality, evaluate the state and the conditions of the coal occurrence by traditional geological theory and modern GIS technology, and establish three-dimensional geological model of Huagou West detailed mine for formation visualization. It shows that there are two main coal seams: coal seam 10 and 82. After the coal seam 10 formed it was washed by a ancient river that flow from North West to South East, and the channel transfer from north to south, the transformation washed significantly. In the north of the line defined by the 08-39 and 22-2 hole, there is only a small-scale block that reservation can be recovered, diverted to non-coal mining area or thinning coal seam areas, and in the south of the coal seam 10 is thick, with an average thickness of more than 2m. Magmatic rocks invade the layers between 82, and there is 0-6 layers that intrude the coal seam 82, so it make coal seam 82 more tonstein and complex in the structure; coal seam 82 was intruded about 65 percent in the area by maqmatic rock or natural coke in the exploration area. Magma intrusion seriously impact the coal seam 82 at east of the exploration line 21 north it seriously at west of in the south of the line 23, too. The hole of 08-38 maybe the center of the magma intrusion, it flows from southwest to northeast. Another invasive center is located at the north of line 17, flows from north to south. Fault F1 is probably the passage that magma intrusion to the coal seam 82. Coal seams 10 and 82 coefficient variation of thick are 0.47 and 0.48 for unstable seam. By general evaluation of occurrence conditions and the formations of visualization of 3D for the scope and the occurrence, the coal seams occurrence status is complex to mining.
