Earthquake ground motion is the external reason of earthquake damage, and the main contents of earthquake engineering researching. Generally speaking, the characteristics of ground motion can be described by its three elements, namely, the amplitude of ground motion, spectrum and duration. The different combinations of these three factors determine various types of security structures, a large number of objective facts show this point. Ground motion is affected by three factors such as earthquake source, transmission and local site conditions.This paper analyzed the earthquake environment of Shandong province at frist. This area is influenced by three earthquake belts, and the most important is Yishu fault belt, which cross this region. The active faults of these earthquake belts control the distribution of potential source zone, in adition, influence the result of seismic hazard analysis obviously. We find the characteristics of seismic spatial distribution of this area. Furthermore, we prove that the ratio of different level's probablitity of exceedance obey log-normal distribution. This results possess the guidance to draft earthquake resistant level.Based on drilling data, geomorphology and topography, etc., we divide Shandong province into different engineering geological units according to soil structure and geomorphology. We classify the site collected more than 100 by the way of Code for Seismic Design of Buildings GB50011-2001. It shows that the most of all site in Shandong isâ…¡andâ…¢.In order to analyse the influence of site condition to ground motion acceleration response spectrum, the study adopt one-dimensional equivalent linear method calculating seismic response of soil sites. Constructing more than 100 sites model, we obtain response spectrum of these sites by sites earthquake response analysis. On the basis of the results, the author analyse the influence of sites to response spectrum, and give the adjusting proposals to amplitude of Shandong region design earthquake acceleration response spectrum, furthermore, give the Shandong region peak acceleration zoning map based on'anti-collapse'.
