In the article,wind-erosion and aeolian status are determined in the desert steppe,and situation of surface soil wind erosion was quantified by surface wind erosion depth contour.Combined topographic map and meteorological behaviors and surface soil size,we research why sandstorm source are moving to south,and the relationship of soil wind erosion and vegetation coverage are researched.The article gets the following conclusions:1.East Gobi of Outer Mongolia is located to the northwest of the study area.The gravel layer was formed on the ground,because a lot of ground sand materials and physical clay are carried by wind erosion in long term.The ground surface morphology showed that East Gobi is sandstorm source.The phenomenon of wind erosion degree gradually slowdown from northwest to southeast shows that sandstorm source is gradually extending to southeast,the reason that northwest wind is primary wind direction of caused surface erosion in the spring. 2.There is a relationship between wind erosion that directly caused existed rosette grasses roots exposured and stronger disturbance in desert steppe.Trace of historical,the Animal Husbandry's Development began to 1980s in the region,so 1980 for starting point.The average wind erosion depth is estimated to range from 0.47~1.54mm,or average wind erosion modulus is estimated to range from1291~3841 t/(km2*a). 70728 km2 for study area,the surface materials are carried to 1.72×108t/y by wind erosion.3.The biggest wind speed and the main wind direction of northwest wind lead to main reason and main season of soils wind erosion in the area in the spring.The amount of different spatial positional wind erosion is various,the amount of wind erosion is the biggest in windy ingress, and wind erosion amount is bigger on windward slope,however,after wind over mountain and entry into lower terrain area again,wind erosion amount is the smallest.4.In the desert steppe,the key factor of effect wind erosion is vegetation coverage.The relationship between soils wind erosion and vegetation coverage is that the higher of vegetation coverage and the smaller of soils wind erosion.If wind speed is greater than critical speed, the amount of wind erosion and wind speed show an exponential relationship.
