Polarization effect is a major factor that restrains the further development of optical fiber communication, especially for high-speed system more than 40Gb/s. In order to improve the stability of polarization, many researchers pay their attention on polarization control.Though many developments have been made in studying the method of light polarization control, there are still various problems in its application. In this thesis, problems with the method of polarization control through squeezing and control arithmetic are studied through experiment system made by myself.The paper discusses the previous research results, describes the essence of light polarization state, analyzes the squeeze-type birefringence theory and studies algorithm theory of polarization control. Then, an experimental control system is designed and set up. The corresponding experiments are completed. The concrete content includes three main aspects:1. A system controlling driver circuit connected to a computer has been designed and realized successfully.2. Controlling software and display interface program are written. The computer control on the circuit is realized in experiment system.3. Using the above software and hardware, a lot of data are obtained by measuring polarization states. The correctness of the algorithm is verified by the results.
