Global Positioning System(GPS) is capable of precisely navigating and positioning in three dimensions all-weather, around-the-clock, and globally, it has approbatory time system in the world, thus is potential of significant application and development. The use of GPS timing function can be fast, accurate and synchronized to achieve time synchronization.This article was designed DSP chip TMS320LF2407 with the GPS module iTrax03 hardware interface circuit, the software interface for debugging. On this basis, the use of the clock chip M41ST87W to provide accurate time information and store it, PPS on the timing for a breakdown in order to achieve greater accuracy.Both C language and assembly language are adopted to carry out software design, which makes program much transplantable and doesn't affect systematic real-time processing ability. The system runs steadily with extremely high reliability and accuracy, and accomplishes GPS time function.
