Study On The Probability Unit Method Based On Sensitivity Test

The probability unit method is an important sensitivity test method,which was listed into the national military standards in 1994.This method is not only used to estimate parameters,but also used to test the distribution model.This paper aims to make a comprehensive summarization of this method,analyse its using background,basic idea and operation method.In addition,the advantages and disadvantages have also been pointed out for evaluation in order to make this method better to be used in practical work.And we have compared the probability unit method with karber method which is often used to analyze run-down method data,and detected that the probability method is suitable for analysing the run-down method data and surpassed in the parameter estimation. We also find that the probability method is suitable for analyzing different batches but with the same type data,and two examples have been given to verify this.Meanwhile based on the existing method,a deeper research has been done.We have considered the methods of parameter estimation and distribution model test when sensitivity distribution type is weibull.Furthermore,a new non-parameter method has been proposed to estimate the response probability. All methods have been verified by simulation.
