With the development of the economy and culture in our country, more and more attention is paid to the security of the public facilities in recent years. And most of explosions occurred have the character of high-destructive and repetitious. In this paper, the formation and laws of transmission of the explosion shock wave are analyzed by the numerical simulation especially having the numerical secure simulation of Chang-hu highway towards its existing conditions. The main content of the paper are as follows:1.The formation and laws of transmission of the explosion shock wave in the air are analyzed according to the existing theoretics. And the necessity of the numerical simulation towards explosion and impact is illuminated. Also, the function and character of the software ANSYS/LS-DYNA are brief introduced.2.The laws of the transmission the explosion shock wave after the explosion in three-dimensional space when there isn't any obstacle are simulated. Compared to the result of calculation through experiential formulas, the simulation result of the peak overpressure produced by explosion near to the ground is consistent on the whole. Further more, the principle and rules of the round flow are studied when there are obstacles.3.According to the existing conditions of the Chang-hu highway ,theoretic calculation of the shock overpressure, the velocity of fragment and the secure distance of the earthquake are made when the missiles surrounding explode accidentally. and have carried on numerical simulation on the interaction between the explosion shock wave generated by explosion and the highway protective wall designed to be built, the safe ability of the highway safe wall is analyzed. The final part of the paper is the conclusion of study and some questions are proposed for further study in the field.
