Geothermal is a kind of clean energy. It is extremely important to strengthen the geothermal resources evaluation and research under the situation of the growing concern. There is rich low-temperature geothermal resources in Xiongxian County, Hebei Province, and It is mainly used for space heating, greenhouse, spa, recreation, bringing excellent economic, social and environmental benefits. Its geothermal system belongs to typical low-temperature sedimental basin system, including the Tertiary sandstone reservoir and dolomite reservoir. The most important reservoir situates in the Wumishan group, Jixian System. In order to strengthen the management of the geothermal resources, at the same times, to facilitate the real-time understanding and dynamic programming for the staffs, the geothermal information system has been set up for geothermal resource assessment and management in Xiongxian County, and the system uses advanced ROAM Dynamic View-Depentdent surface generation algorithm for placing various strata in the three-dimensional scene in accordance with the same reference system. In this sytem some difficult problems have been resolved such as topological relations, stratigraphic pinch-out, fault zone simulation, and realizes the space analysis function such as profile building, reservoir analysis, reservoir statistical computation. At the same times, the system has realized the space-attribute search and analysis function for two-demension section, such as data conversion, thematic maps analysis, space-attribte bi-directional query , thematic map production, projection transformation, statistical analysis in decision-making and thematic maps publish function ,etc, and making the special research on the visualization of the reservoir. In the dissertation, the lumped parameters model and Monte Carlo method has been used to do the resource assessment for this region. This method can predict the pressure changes and evaluate the energy reserves in the reservoir. In particular, we append the prediction and evaluation method to the system as a important function modules, the results above show that the geothermal field has excellent geothermal storage conditions and development potential.However, in order to prevent the geological environment problem, so the geothermal staffs should enhanced the information management in this field, for example, the long-term monitoring for temperature, pressure, production in geothermal wells. And carry out reinjection to counteract the pressure drop-down for achieving sustatinable development.
