The brain is an open complex system. The variety of brain functions are based on the complexity of brain structure. There are different levels of brain research, positioning the relationship between the brain structure and function, analyzing the neural network and neural circuits,at the same time exploring neuronal synaptic communication. The trend of the study is to clarify the basic neural activity on the cellular and molecular level, with emphasis on research from a network point of view on function of the nervous system. The goal is to reveal the mechanism of brain functions. As an important branch of brain science, the brain function of learning and memory has been the concern of researchers.Previous studies showed that the hippocampus plays a crucial role in the memory processing. The hippocampus is responsible for the formation of declarative long-term memory and spatial memory processing. In this paper, the two types of hippocampus-dependent memory were studied.Declarative memory is crucial to people's daily lives.People usually say that something has been remembered, that is to say the declarative memory transformed from the short-term memory to long-term memory. In this paper, the hippocampus dependant memory was studied with the holographic theory. The study focused on the structure of the hippocampus as well as the idiosyncrasy of the activation process in memory mode. The transformation process of the short-term memory to long-term memory, which is dependant on the hippocampus and the associative brain regions, was analogized with the optical holographic imaging process. The coherency of the neural signals and the basis of holographic memory in the human brain were discussed. At the same time,on the recent experiments findings related to the research was expatiated to discuss the possibility of holographic memory.Spatial memory is the memory responsible for recording environmental information and spatial orientation. As a principal means to research memory function, spatial memory received extensive attention.Neural mechanisms of spatial memory research have been hot issues of concern of neuroscience and brain science. The study of population dynamics in hippocampal place cells has emerged as one of the most powerful tools for understanding the encoding, storage and retrieval of declarative memory. In the present study, the experiment of spatial memory task was designed to investigate the behavioristics of spatial memory processing.91 normal volunteers(79 male,12 female) participated in the experiment, all subjects have normal or corrected to normal vision. The results showed that after the spatial information was reconstructed into the working memory, the subjects only need to maintain the information during the afterwards tasks. As the tasks were carried on,there would be a steady decline of spatial memory, resulting in the difficulty of the task gradually became larger. The accuracy rate and the response time of performance decline during the afterwards tasks. The reconstruction process of spatial memory in the brain was followed by maintenance process.
