With the rapid development of the Global Navigation Satellite System, there is a growing tendency among the researchers who focus on realization of GNSS software receiver. Because of its unique advantages such as its easy reconfiguration characteristics of function module and easy to change property of signal processing module, the Software defined radio based receiver has been regard as a hot research subject. At first, GPS and Galileo system are introduced, followed with their corresponding signal structure and comparison between their properties. The main body discusses the realization of the whole hardware and software architecture of the system, from the front-end GP2015 to the USB2.0 data bus which connected with a personal computer. In the mean time, the quantization effects on the performances of the receiver are analyzed. Especially, the paper compared the different tracking performances of the Delay-Lock Loops, under different dynamic and multipath situations. In the end, the main contribution of the paper is the hardware and software platform of the system. Preliminary experimental results are analyzed to verify the validity the future use of the platform.
