Ground fissures calamity is a kind of ground deformation in geologic hazard. It not only creates directly damage to different structure, such as city structure, traffic, lifeline project, farmland, water conservancy project and so on, but also causes a series of environment problems. The phenomenon of present ground fissures have been discovered in many countries in the world, the frequency and the degree of disaster are anabatic year by year. The ground fissures and relevant ground subsidence in Xi'an city are the foremost geologic hazard at the moment. Detecting the deep seated structure of the ground fissures and researching the contributing factor of the ground fissures in Xi'an have important practical significance for preventing the harm of the ground fissures reasonably and efficiently.Shallow seismic exploration is one of the effective methods of detecting the subsurface construct. By means of using abundant seismic reflection and reflection profile, we can decide the distribution form and mode of occurrence.The original reviews the basic concept of ground fissures, the distribution state home and abroad, the essential characteristic of the ground fissures, and the present situation of application and technique of shallow seismic exploration in the ground fissures of Xi'an.By means of building different models, we compute the forward seismic record and analyze how to select the parameters in acquirement of shallow seismic exploration: to talk about how to select the source by analyzing the wavelet and how to put up recording geometry by the parameter analysis. At the same time, we analyze the answerback of the ground fissures on the forward record, and then guide the interpretation work of shallow seismic exploration in Xi'an.Secondly, the original analyzes the deficiency of conventional static correction, which is used in data processing of shallow seismic exploration of ground fissures in Xi'an, and then proposes the non-vertical corrector method, which is used in coal-field seismic exploration. By testing models, we can see that the non-vertical corrector method is effective in data processing of shallow seismic exploration of ground fissures in Xi'an.Finally, by actual data acquiring, processing and interpretation work of shallow seismic exploration of ground fissures in Xi'an, the original has provided more detailed and accurate foundation of seismic data, which is for the ground fissures and the composition of the internal reflection layer of the Quaternary, and the positional connection with deep-buried fault structure in Xi'an.
