China's serpentine is very rich in resources and extensive distribution, Shaanxi JIANCHALING Ridge as the famous mineral pool, with the exception of gold, nickel, iron and other metal ores, there are many kinds of mineral serpentine, with large reserves. By means of outside research, XRD, SEM,DTA,EMP and chemical analysis, the author studied mineralogical characteristics of this serpentine .The results showed that the serpentinite structure includes crystalloid and crystallization, the former is chrysotile, the latter constitute chrysotile and antigorite .It is obvious isomorphic substitution whit high iron rates.Based on mineralogy in serpentine, the author studied mechanism of the adsorption of Cu2+ onto serpentine .The results showed that removal rates improved with increase the amount of serpentine, the reaction time of response and the temperature, the amount of serpentine that the greatest impact than reaction time and temperature times, and the pH value of the most affected was not obvious. At the same time through data analysis showed the better treatment of conditions: temperature 80℃, reaction time 20 min, absorption capacity of q = 2.88 (mg / g), removal rates can reach more than 99% . Finally, the author gived the prospect of the serpentine .
