Dynamic characteristic of ejection system and dynamic plastic deformation of restoring spring is researched, which is based on dynamics of multibody system and dynamic plastic mechanics.The comparative study of properties between the multibody systems dynamics analysis and the software solver in classic dynamic problem is performed in this paper. The result shows that it is feasible and reliable to analyze multibody systems dynamic problem by software solver. The virtual prototype of the ejection system is assembled, and the dynamic simulation is made by 3D modeling and dynamic softwares cooperatively. Thus, the impact excitation acting on the restoring spring is obtained, and the dynamic characteristic of the ejection system is acquired.Based on dynamic plastic theory, the dynamic plastic failure of the restoring spring under the above impact excitation is studied by the FEM software. Thereby, the plastic deformation of spring is obtained, and the main reason leading to failure is found. Moreover, a scheme on improving design to reduce plastic deformation of the spring is presented. The research work in this paper has guiding significance to engineering, and provides consultation for design and optimization of ejection system.
