The study and research of the remaining oil distribution is the main approach in enhancing oil recovery, because further development and study of oil fields must be on the basis of the features of the remaining oil distribution in underground reservoirs. Having collected and analyzed the already-existed resources, the current study sets up the dynamic development model and the fluid parameter model of the oil field, so as to conduct numerical simulation research into the Saertu Reservoir, Honggang Oil Field, Jilin Oil Region, recur it thirty-four-year history of production and discover its remaining oil distribution at present, as well as predict its development trends.Oil field numerical simulation is the only approach till now to quantitatively describe the fluxion pattern of multiphase fluids in heterospheres. Using performance matching, it can ascertain the oil saturation distribution in the reservoir, and can help do mechanism research in oil reservoir saturation distribution under different geological conditions and different drive modes. In addition, this method has advantages such as convenience, swiftness, low cost, repeatability, flexibility and direct display. Therefore, it is one of the most important approaches in remaining oil distribution research.Through oil reservoir numerical simulation, this study elicits the remaining oil distribution features of the Saertu Reservoir, Honggang Oil Field, Jilin Oil Region. General study shows that, in spite of the high level of mining and water content ratio of the main layer, the majority of remaining oil is distributed in sections where injection-withdrawal system is not satisfactory or where the reservoir is not fully developed, as well as in the dead oil areas in some non-main layers. Among the oil layers, main layer group Sâ… , with poor properties, has an limited sweep area, and therefore has relatively more interwell remaining oil. However, in main layer group Sâ…¡, the property of the reservoir and the interwell communication are better and the sweeping area is larger, thus the remaining oil saturations of these layers are relatively low. As for the non-main layers, their individual properties are developed to different extents, and, generally speaking, areas with better properties have lower remaining oil saturations, and vice versa. With the help of the historically matched geological model, the present study predicted the production performance in the next ten years, and analyzed the decline history of the oil field. The last part of the dissertation put forward adjusting measures for some individual wells, which will provide solid foundation for the future adjustment and development of the oil field.
