In this paper, research progress of heavy metal transport models, which are used in the research of river, estuary and offshore, is introduced and analyzed. Then the mechanism of particle adsorption, and some common adsorption isotherms are discussed in detail. What's more, peculiarities and main affecting factors of sediment absorbing heavy metal are analyzed emphatically. The heavy metal transport model in the flow-sediment environment, including three models such as hydrodynamic governing equations, sediment transport governing equations and heavy metal transport governing equations, are founded, based on the framework of the entirety model. Further more, corresponsive set of conditions and the method of numerical solutions are given. Based on some assumptions, two new analytical solutions are obtained under two special moving bed conditions, namely pure deposition process and pure erosion process. At last, the numerical method is verified against the analytical solutions.
