In some frail entironments, cliffy landforms and loose terranes of hill and mountainous areas, people exploited the mine resource in a big way which can provide lots of relax solid matters to debris flow, so that the mining residues become the main matters of debris flow. Also it can increase the angle of the ground, make the non-debris flow valley transform to debris flow valley and fewer debris flow area to more debris flow area . And then, there form a new style of debris flow which can be named mine debris flow. It is a especial style of debris flow which arisen during the mine area construction. It is is a classical man-made debris flow, so there are some differences with natural debris such an the initiation mechanism. Based on the reason above, the author pathbreaking study of the initiation mechanism of mine debris flow in Xiao Qinling gold field.Geological condition, topographical condition and moisture condition are three essential conditions in initiation process of debris flow. Geological condition can be show as particle size distribution of debris flow material and topographical condition can be show as the angle of slope. Based on the investigation, the mine debris flow in Xiao Qinling gold field of mountainous area can be sort to two kinds: valley kind of water power and slope kind of gravity power. We used minitype simulation experiment flume which simulation original shape is Xiao Tonggou in Xiao Qinling gold field and adopted the preparative debris flow materials in Xiao Tonggou to be materials in tests. By 75 times of combinated tests, we can educe the correlation of the three initiation conditions of mine debris flow and educe the correlation function among them by regression analysis. Based on the tests, the author has analyzed the mechanics of the two kind of the debris flow, and simply educed the initiation mechanism of the mine debris flow. In the mean while, using the results of the tests and the investigation data, the author attempted to explore the prediction method of the mine debris flow and brought the new idea of prediction model of debris flow.
