Acousto-optic technology of Bragg diffraction is a new kind of borderline science and application technology. Acousto-optic devices based on this technology combine sonic characteristic with optical characteristic, realizing function which cannot be realized by other devices, as makes them become important component of modern light mechanical and electrical integration systems and the core of information processing. Owing to the great significance, the research on the principles and experiments of the acousto-optic Bragg diffraction is of great importance.In this task, the pulse amplitude analysis method, a valid signal detecting method in acoustic-optic effect experiments, has been researched and designed to the signals of Bragg diffraction. The method combining acousto-optic technology of Bragg diffraction with pulse amplitude analysis technology, takes acousto-optic Bragg diffraction as research object and pulse amplitude analyzer as measuring platform. The method analyzes output pulse signal from CCD device in acousto-optic effect, and avoids error measurement results caused by external disturbances and reading errors in Bragg diffraction acoustic-optic experiments. Besides, the composition and the working mechanism of the pulse amplitude analyzer have been researched in this paper. Compared with the measuring results by usually used oscilloscope measuring method, measuring the output pulse signal in acousto-optic diffraction through pulse amplitude analyzer can improve total accuracy in experiment measurement.The design plan, working principle and components of the pulse amplitude analyzer have been discussed in this paper. Besides, the principle and application of analog-digital conversion has been stated. Unit circuits have been put up, careful analysis and research of which have been done. And the best Unit circuits have been chosen. Pulse amplitude analyzing circuit used for acousto-optic Bragg diffraction has been put up, and the waveforms at each working points have been analyzed, which prove the realization of circuit function. On the basis of these, acousto-optic deflection measurement, acousto-optic modulation efficiency measurement and ultrasonic velocity measurement have been done, and actual measuring results in accord with theoretical values have been obtained.
