Underground structures are being constructed and developed quickly in China. The corresponding disaster prediction and prevention of underground structures are regarded seriously by office and research institutions and company. Since 1995, the importance of aseismic design of such structures has been showed up. To develop analysis theory and techniques in underground structure's seismic response and reasonably resist earthquake damage, it is necessary to know factors influence response of underground structures under earthquake and patterns which present the characteristics of the effect. However, by far, there is few papers focus on the systemic analysis of the factors and the patterns .Based on this situation, relevant problems on the factors and patterns are discussed in this thesis:1. The necessity of seismic design for soil-underground structure interaction is stated. Based on the history of underground structures'aseismic analysis and aseismic analysis method, the status in quo and tendency in aseismic research on underground structure are indicated and the significance of the research on the factors and patterns is pointed out.2. The major factors which influence the seismic response of underground structure are acquired by analytical solution. The factors are magnitude of earthquake, site condition and structure's characteristic. The effect of every factor is discussed.3. Based analytical results, about 190 dynamic numerical models are designed to analyze six factors'effect on underground structures'seismic response. The six factors are depth, section shape, size, ratio of height and width, ratio of stiffness between soil and structure and contact condition between soil and structure. The corresponding response characteristics are summarized.4. The characteristics given by analytical and numerical results are compared and the foreground and significance about the research results'application in underground structure's aseismic optimized design are stated.The cognitions and conclusions, given in this paper, in the factors on earthquake response of underground structure, provide some helpful reference to engineering practice. |
