Electromagnetically induced transparency phenomena is a hot issue in current quantum optics region in recent years. The fact that EIT can be used to effectively change the absorption rate of probe field and greatly enhance nonlinear susceptibility, and produce unique optical properties in atomic medium has intrigued researchers for extensive investigation in the connection of EIT with many potential applications, especially with regard to low-intensity nonlinear optics (which can reach the level of a few photons), quantum information processing, quantum information storage and retrieval, optical multiwave mixing, optical bistability state, laser without inversion and so on.We first investigate the basic properties of the single-molecular magnets and introduce some macroscopic quantum effects such as quantum tunneling effect, Staircase Hysteresis Loop. Then we demonstrate the Hamiltonian describing the interaction between single-molecular magnets and external fields.After that, we discuss the absorption of weak probe field in a typicalΛthree-level atomic system in the presence of an additional coupling field. From different physical points of view, we analyze in detail the physical mechanism of EIT, taking sodium atom as an example, and give a brief introduction to the realization of EIT processing as well as a summary on the conditions of EIT.Finally, we investigate EIT effect in a crystal of molecular magnets theoretically. The crystal is subject to a strong coupling AC magnetic field, we consider a crystal of molecular magnets as a typicalΛthree-level atomic system. Using the Schr?dinger equation, we study the propagation and absorption properties of transverse acoustic wave in the magnets with a strong coupling AC magnetic field. We then propose the propagation equation of the acoustic wave field considering the nonlinear effect and obtain the accurate analytic solutions. Finally, analyze briefly the dynamics of transverse acoustic wave in molecular magnets.
