The Study For The Distribution Of Oil And Water In Talaha Oilfield

Talaha is located at the western Daqing oilfield in the North of Song Liao Basin. With the further exploration and development of the western Daqing oilfield, Talaha has become the main target production layer recently. Due to the abundance of faults, complicated geological condition, the distribution of high-resistivity water layer and low-resistivity oil layer, widely scattered oil layers and the complicated distribution of oil layer and water layer, some pilot projects of the this area have not been very successful.In the early exploration and evaluation of Talaha oilfield, do lots of work in structure and formation. But get a little knowledge about the distribution of oil and water, so as for the question of complex distribution and recognition of oil and water, does the research work. According to the geological traits of Talaha area, The paper aims to on the base of the research of area geological study and well logging fluid identification techniques, with the help of mud logging fluid identification techniques to recognize the water layer and oil layer, set up the water and oil layer interpretation plate of different blocks and formations. Based on the mud logging, well logging, oil testing results and the former knowledge of geological and reservoir structure to summarize and analyses the water layer and oil layer distribution mechanism of Talaha area.The further development plan has been put forward to evaluate the oil-bearing blocks and make out the development wells perforation plan, which can still provide the experience for the development of other domestic oilfields with the similar geological condition.
