It's important for vehicle have a superior suspension system to raise the ride comfort and the operation stability on different road. Conventional vehicle usually adopt the passive suspension system which can't adapt to the chance of situation of road and running, so it's very hard to have an improvement for vehicle's function; Active suspension system can product a force itself with the energy from outside, so the ride comfort of vehicles and the operation stability will have a radical improvement, but it need much energy; With the development of Intelligent Materials and control methods, the researches of semi-active suspension system which can sharply raise the ride comfort of vehicles and the operation stability function of vehicle without too much energy has been the hot topics.This article has used the method of simulation to research the vehicle semi-active suspension system base on MR damper.Firstly, based on the latest research, this article has used the Bingham plasticity model to analyze the relationship of damping force and factors such as the current, vibration speed and the swing. Using the methods of optimal control, we have achieved the feedback matrix and then calculate the functional relationship of MR damper force and state-space vector. Then, MR dampers and suspension system has been taken as an integrated system. Based on this, the relevancy of the abrasion of MR dampers and the shock absorption function of the suspension system has been studied, which has provided academic basis for the implication of MR dampers in the vehicle suspension system.Then, by using the method of dynamic analysis of asymmetric systems, this article has analyzed the relationship between the current of the semi-active suspension system and the factors such as the state-space vector, the structural parameters and etc. Then the article has analyzed how the absorption function of vehicle suspension system will be affected as the structural parameters of the MR dampers change. Based on the analysis above the degree of the correlation between absorption function of vehicle suspension system and the fatigue wear of MR dampers has been studied, then a resolve method has been provided.Finally, using the methods of LQR optimal control, we have achieved the correlation between absorption function of vehicle suspension system and the value of Q an R, then we get a more optimal value of it.
