1580PC rolling mill is the first engineer object of the third project in Baosteel company. Since it has been performed in producing, the breaker bolt fixed in the axis unite device has been fractured frequently, that made the manufacture could not go on well, and brought about certain economic losses. In this paper, the breaker bolt fixed in the 1580PC axis unite device was analyzed, especially variety mechanical model of it. The reasonable mechanical model was got by comparing every model. Further, the FEM modal of the breaker bolt is set up, and find the numerical analysis result about the mechanics character and carrying capacity of breaker bolt using nonlinear solution function of ANSYS software.Made the shaft coupling and breaker bolt Simplified, designed the experiment model, then carried out the destroying experiment by 100 ton pressure testing machine in Structural Engineering Laboratory of YanShan University, and got the loading displacement curve and the critical load that the breaker bolt cut off.A conclusion that the FEM model is in reason was derived from comparing the calculation result of every model and experimental result which can present the load character and stress distributing disciplinarian of the breaker bolt. The analysis result of simplified pure cut model was similar with FEM modal. Therefore, pure cut model can be select for calculation model in common simplified calculation.Based on the calculation result of Ansys software and experiment result, we got the allowable load, danger point of breaker bolt which had important guiding significance for improving the performance of breaker bolt in actual project.
