This paper is based on the research results of the Tenth Five- years' National Key Technologies R&D Programme (No.2004BA610A-01, 2001BA610A-01)—"The Divisional Standard of Ecological Water Use in China".According to wetland eco-hydrological configuration, the hydrological connectivity of wetland ecological system is researched.Based on research progress of hydrological connectivity at home and abroad, the concept of hydrological connectivity is proposed with the main content and research methods. Combined with wetland eco-hydrological configuration, the calculation method and the characteristic value of the wetland ecosystem hydrological connectivity are put forward. And the correlativity of hydrological connectivity and water connections is discussed with the variety of wetland water income. This paper takes the Zhalong Wetland as an example, which is located in the basin of Wuyuer-Shuangyang River. Five remote sensing images at different time of Zhalong Wetland are selected, to analyse the water surface area and distrebuting varieties by remote sensing translate and spatial analysis. Combined with the annual runoff, precipitation and evaporation datas of different years, the hydrological connectivity changes driven by the water revenue in Zhalong Wetland are analysed, and the calculation method of wetland hydrological connectivity is suggested.Water condition is the key factor of the survival of the wetlands, and hydrological connectivity of the wetlands can reflect the correlations of the hydrological changes and the ecological structures and functions, which is an important indicator of the wetland health. The research conclusions of this paper can provide the technical support for the protection and restoration of the wetland ecosystem, and offer the scientific basis for water resources planning.
