Research Problem About Impact Contact Between Euler Plate And Linear Elastic Rod

The system of equations to describe the transverse impact problem involving a half infinite linear elastic bar and a finite linear elastic Euler square plate and its solutions is given. The system of equations based on the Quasi Static process postulates developed by KOdakai-Nakaha-Ras assumption and the solution to it employed Laplace Transform Technique. Models of Euler Square Plate under different boundary condition are solved by Durbin numerical inversion, and the results well reflect some properties of Elastic bar-Elastic plate impact problem.The first section of the paper describes the importance of the work and present research results of impact problem of beam and Euler Plate. The method of the paper employed is outlined as well.The second section deduced the formula of cross sectional inner force and stress of Euler Plate, and obtained the solution of dynamic equation of Euler Plate by Laplace Transform Technique.The third section concerns transverse impact problem of Euler plate, gives the equilibrium equations, geometry equations, boundary condition and initial condition equations. By solving equations varied by boundary condition with Gauss Elimination Method, analytical solutions of impact contact stress, maximum bending stress, maximum torsional stress and shear force are presented.The last section gives corresponding numerical solution by Durbin numerical inversion. Curves of impact contact stress, maximum bending stress, maximum torsional stress and shear force at loading point are showed. The influence of impact speed, material properties (Elastic Modulus and density) is discussed as well. At last the optimization of inverse parameters is implemented.This work can provide theoretical basis and method for solving and researching other correlation problem.
