In this paper, two boundary value problems of higher order differential equations will be considered. The paper is mainly divided into four chapters. The first section is the introduction of the whole paper. We talk about the background of this problem, and make plans for the research of the problems.Next section of the paper mainly investigates the singular two-point boundary value problems of differential equationswhere the weight funtion a(t) is singular at t = 0 and t = 1 .We will can obtain the spectral properties of this boundary value problems. The third section mainly investigates the fourth-order p-Laplacian boundary value problems with impulsive effects, where the nonlinear funtion f has some monotone properties. We obtain the existence of solutions to this boundary value problems by using upper and lower solutions and monotone iterative methodsAt last, we summarize the results of the whole paper...
