Last century, Dr Needham put forward the "The Needham's Puzzle", Chinese Academic circles began to discuss the question about :"The relationship of Confucianism & China ancient science and technology", and there are many different standpoints.The paper mainly from Sung Dynasty (Vigorous period of China ancient science and technology) and Ming Dynasty (Decline period of China ancient science and technology) to inquiry into "The Needham's Puzzle". Science and culture are closely-related, different culture educate different science. Confucianism developed into a new form in Song Dynasty, and the science also reached its "vigorous period". Confucianism was tired up in Ming Dynasty, so the science began to reach its "decline period". Today, we should develop and evaluate correctly the excellent thoughts of Confucianism.
