PANI is believed to be a kind of conducting polymer material with good third-order nonlinear optical property.It will become the most useful conjugate polymer material in life because of its particular adulteration,the different electronic structures which can change to each other,the excellent physical and chemical property,the good optical and heat stability,the cheap price and easily to be prepared.MWNCT is chosen to improve the nonlinear optical property for its good optical property.PANI-MWCNT which performs excellent property is prepared by in-situ polymerization processes,and is adulterated with PVA/PMMA to form the film,which is prepared to application on optical device.In the issue,Z-scan experimental system is established.The third-order nonlinear properties of the samples are determined by Z-scan technique at 532nm with 8-ns duration,and the close and open curves of Z-scan are obtained.The theory curves are simulated by the thin-layer sample's Z-scan theory,and is compared with the experimental curves.The good result is obtained.According to the theory of Z-scan,the third-order optical nonlinear refractive indexes are calculated.According to the calculation,the third-order nonlinear optical property of PANI-MWCNT is improved with the increasing of the consistency of MWCNT.The property is obviously improved for the adulteration of MWCNT.There's not too much difference between the film samples and the liquid samples on third-order nonlinear optical property,which can indicate the film sample's optical property is not effected,and the reliable experimental data can be used in the future.
