In northern drought areas, surface water availability is in low level, groundwater resources as a major water supply source. Therefore, groundwater investigation, evaluation , rational development turn into a important factors that restricted local economic and social development .The purpose of this paper is to study the use of satellite remote sensing data in groundwater level evaluated, and find out the hydrogeological conditions to impact of regional groundwater systems. This research model of groundwater level distribution using remote sensing (GLDRS) was established using Landsat5 TM image, by dint of Envi software to analyses the groundwater level in research area. The main point of views about the paper is listed as follow:1. Using a method of satellite image visual interpretation to analyses the condition of landform and topographic features, give priority to shapes of dune.2. Base on spectral characteristics theory, support by remote sensing image data, by dint of Envi software platform, using the measure of spectral characteristic curve to analysis the aquifer composition and structure in study area.3. In establishing Mono-band TM data model and multi-band TM data model for remote sensing of soil moisture to estimated the level of groundwater. This model integrate the mathematics, remote sensing and model theory.4. Validated the estimate value by practical measure data, the result accord with fact.
