We propose a scheme utilizing mean-field approach to exhibits switch effect in a symmetrical Bose-Einstein condensates triple-well potential. In chapter one, we introduce the background and related problems of Bose-Einstein condensation, including theoretical prediction and experimental realization. Moreover, we give a introduction about recent developments of some devices base on Bose-Einstein condensates. In chapter two, we present the theoretical framework of this paper, including inter-particle force, the mean-field treatment of Bose-Einstein condensation system, the classical canonical form of quantum system and the correspondence between classical Hamiltonian dynamics and Bose-Einstein condensation system. In chapter three, we investigate the switch effect of Bose-Einstein condensates in a triple-well potential both the zero-point energy equal to zero and unequal to zero. The role of interaction and initial atoms number in the middle well are studied. The influence of relative phase are presented. Dynamic stability in our system are discussed.Study shows, Tunneling from the left well to the right well of a large number atoms can be controlled by a small amount of atoms in the middle well so as to the system exhibits on-off behavior. The tunneling rate depend on initial atoms number placed in the middle well.We also discuss the influence of relative phase. Chapter four is our conclusion and the potential application of our model are presented in there.
