Spatial resources utilization evolution study is the basic issues of coastal response to human activities research. With the construction of large-scale reclamation and transport projects, the Gulf area and tidal prism reduced quickly. There are a number of contradictions and problems in the marine management with the increase of marine resources exploitation intensity and density. It is necessary to make the research of Gulf resources space-time evolution and driving force in order to provide certain technical support to the rational use of natural resources. Focusing on spatial resources utilization space-time evolution of Coastal Zone, This thesis chose Jiaozhou Bay as research object.By using Multi-Source Geographical Information Processing Technique and remote sensing image processing technology, the thesis extracted the marine spatial resources information from nautical charts, topographic maps, remote sensing images, etc. The principal contents include coastline, nautical Zero water depth contour, tidal flat area, utilization of coastal zone. On the basis of Geo-Informatics Tupu Theory, constructed the development intensity and dynamic degree evaluation model. Further, the thesis analyzed the disciplinarian of the change of coastal zone utilization. Finally, analyzed the driving factor using the semi-quantitative method. The main reasons for the discrepant measuring result of Jiaozhou Bay coastline are coastline definition, different scales. Using 1:10 000 scale cartographic precision level, calculated the coastline length and types from topographic maps, charts, remote sensing images. Nearly 140 years, natural coastline reduced dramatically from 170Km to 20Km, Artificial coastline become the main type.Depth datum unification can use profiles slope correction with profile field measurements. The both sides of Dagu River estuary moved seaward about average 2.2km.Based on the theories and methods of Geo-Informatics Tupu and Geographic Information Systems Spatial Analysis, discussed the utilization change of Jiaozhou Bay. Since 1935, development and utilization types gradually diversity, solar salt was the main type in 1969, fishery breeding and Port Terminal increasing year by year from 1987. The four main utilization types are solar salt, industry and transportation reclamation, fishery breeding, Accounted for 98% in the year 2002.Using the transpose analysis, salt field and fishery transform from tidal flat is The greatest change in area from 1969 to 1987. The top three transformations are tidal flat to fishery, tidal to industrial reclamation, solar salt to fishery. This thesis also constructed the utilization intensity and dynamic degree index model of coastal zone. The utilization intensity and dynamic degree increase year by year from 1935. The utilization intensity index increases from 1.13 to 1.49 between 1969-1987, and the index is 2.57 in year 2002. The most high dynamic degree is fishery breeding from 1969 to 1987, and industrial reclamation from 1987 to 2002.Through the correlation and regression analysis between the socio-economic factors and development and utilization factors, come to the conclusions that Jiaozhou Bay coastal zone development and utilization mode evolution is the result of the dual promotion of socio-economic development and population needs. With the development of Qingdao socio-economic and population growth, the human-land contradiction intensification, will inevitably lead to the competition between among various types of Jiaozhou Bay spatial recourses utilization.
