The methods of the multiple attribute decision making(MADM) indicate to choice the decision from the limited alternatives studied out beforehand. The methods of the multiple attribute decision making have also named the methods of multiple criteria decision making of finite alternative.The methods of the multiple attribute decision making(MADM) have been successfully applied in many real-life problems in engineering, economy, market analysis, management and others. Decision is usually made under uncertain condition from some available alternatives, that is, these atternatives should be compared, ranked or chosen. However, with the development of economy, technology and society, the MADM problems have become more and more complex,for which the decision maker can't adapt only by his knowledge and experience. Therefore, it is worth studying on the MADM methods.A few MADM methods are studied in this paper, and the major work lies in the following some parts:1. In the first chapter, the basic knowledge, home and abroad research present situation and research meaning of MADM are described. The basic sequence of ideas of the paper is briefly introduced .2. In the second chapter, we study the incomplete information of MADM, for the characteristics of incomplete information of MADM,we give the index weight determinate model of one weight completely unknown of MADM. The basic thought of establishing model is : finite alternative of MADM is sorted and compared about integrated attribute value of these alternatives. Consequently, through the model constructed with the distance of ideal alternative, we can get the vectors of attribute weight, and then we can sort these alternatives according as the integrated attribute value.3. In the third chapter, for the information of attribute weight can't be completely certained and the attribute values is interval numbers forms, the author put forward the definition of relative dominance index and superiority complementary matrix, and then introduce the decision making methods based on the relative dominance index.4. In the fourth chapter, utilizing rough set theory the author discusses the attribute reduction and kernel of MADM, as well as removal of the redundant attribute from the decision making tables .determation of attribute weight can based on importance degree of attribute; on the side, the subjective weight can considered by expert's mark, then we can gain the final weight. Finally, the alternative is sorted in allusion to the kernel attribute.
