Free TD Algebras And Rooted Trees

This paper uses rooted trees and forests to give explicit constructions of free noncom-mutative TD algebras on modules and sets. As an application, we obtain constructions of free TD algebras in terms of Motzkin paths, These highlights the combinatorial nature of TD algebras and facilitates their further study.
