This paper aimed at the hot spring waters in the Northern Margin Fault Zone of the Qinling. The isotopic characteristics (The hydrogen and oxygen stable isotopic composition, 3He/4He) of deep fluid (the hot spring waters), the initiative effect of deep fluid and the radon characteristics of temporal-spatial evolution of deep fluid in fault zone are studied. From the point of view of weakening effect of water on fault, the author discusses the relationship between the circulation depth of the hot spring waters and seismic activity. According to the result of numerical simulation of temporal-spatial evolution of underground water and combining with other observing information, the author discusses the relationship between the radon anomaly characteristics of temporal-spatial evolution of underground water and fault activity. We mainly conclude that:â‘ The hot spring waters come from atmosphere precipitation and circulate deeply in the Northern Margin Fault Zone of the Qinling. Meanwhile, the water-rock exchange has been done under high temperature in the process of infiltration-runoff-upwelling.â‘¡The circulation depth of the hot spring waters and regional seismic activity are difference in each segment. From the point of view of weakening effect of hot water on fault, It is suggested that a risk in preparation of strong earthquake is most possible on the gansu segment on which the water circulation is smaller.â‘¢According to the result of numerical simulation of temporal-spatial evolution of underground water , the radon anomaly characteristics of temporal-spatial evolution of deep fluid in gansu segment are studied. since the 1990s, It is suggested that the gansu segment in the Northern Margin Fault Zone of the Qinling has been continually effected by compression stress, its porosity get smaller and strain energy continually accumulatedâ‘£According to the above research results and combining with other observing information, It is suggested that a risk in preparation of strong earthquake is most possible on the gansu segment in the Northern Margin Fault Zone of the Qinling. In this paper, the most important thing is that the relationship between the characteristics of deep fluid and the regional seismic activity is studied from the spatial view based on the research on the isotopic characteristics and circulation depth of the hot spring waters, meanwhile, the relationship between the characteristics of deep fluid and the regional seismic activity is studied from the temporal-spatial view based on the research on the radon characteristics of temporal-spatial evolution of the underground water. There are some reference values for deeply studying the relationship between the characteristics of the deep fluid in fault zone and the regional seismic activity in the future.
