The dissertation is concerned with the development of GPS/GLONASS time transfer receiver-NTSCGNSS-2. The fundamental principle of GPS common-view (GPS CV), related error sources, the key techniques of GPS/GLONASS combined CV and the realization of the software and hardware of the system are all explored in the paper. The design of the hardware of the receiver system and the development of the application software are accomplished. The core of the thesis includes:(1) A review of the development history of the precise time comparison technologies. The principle of GPS common-view, two way satellite time transfer and GPS carrier phase are introduced in detail. The main error sources which limit the improvement of GPS CV comparison, and error-correction are analyzed. The precision, application scope and error level of several time comparison methods are evaluated.(2) Analysis of the differences between GPS and GLONASS. On the basis of above, the key techniques of GPS/GLONASS combined common-view are researched. The corresponding solution is advanced in the paper.(3) The description of hardware composition and software design. In the way of hardware, the main frame of NTSCGNSS-2 is built according to the receiver system's function. The selection testing of the key components is expounded. In the way of software, the common-view track procedure is analyzed. The modules of data collecting and flow control are programmed with blocking design in VB6.0.(4) The performance test of NTSCGNSS-2 is completed through the common- view time comparison with zero baseline and short baseline. Aiming at test requirement, we make the comparison and computation program for common-view data in VB6.0. The results of the test are discussed.
