On the basis of organic petrology analysis and organic geochemistry analysis for carbonaceous bitumens and container rock of cengtral Guizhou uplift and it's adjacent areas, connecting with geological situation and the rusult of thermal simulation analysis, the paper has confirmed the original source-reservoir-cap rock. Then it provides a effective basis for the farther expoloration and development and resource prediction to main tract of lower assemblage of marine strata in south China.The study shows that carbonaceous bitumen is ubiquitous in lower palaeozoic, the reflectivity of bitumen is over 2.0%, so it's high/over mature carbonaceous bitumen.Because of high-evolutionary,the material component tend to the same, that's the important characteristic of the reservoir bitumen in this area. The sameness of material component between reservoir bitumen and source rock bitumen shows that the source rock of the reservoir bitumen is in this area,and also shows that the reservoir bitumen may be have not only one source rock.Even the Permian bitumen of lower-evolutionary in Ziyun paleo-reservoir has the similar fingerprint characteristics of biomarkers. The paper indicate that three stages of hydrocarbon injection occured in the oil and gas accumulation.The first stage occured in the Middle Caledonian, when the adequate hydrocarbon source is long-drawn;the second stage took place in the beginning of Indosinian movement, when the chief source rock–lower Silurian Longmaxi formation black mudstone have strided over the peak, the third stage occurred in the early Yanshan movent,when the lower assemblage hydrocarbon turned into gas, and evolve as carbonaceous bitumen. The reservoir in lower assemblage of marine strata in south china went througu multiphase reforms, many have been destroyed. The primary factor for the destruction is tectogenesis.Some unexposed paleo-reservoirs are saved in some degree, but the phase of hydrocarbon and the position of reservoir have changed much.In view of the wide range of solid bitumen and the reality of exploration activity,this research proposes the sound base for next objective exploration.
