| Colluvium landslide is a common landslide type in the Three Gorges Reservior, and it takes up about 42.85% in the geological hazards of this area. Wanzhou and Kaixian zones are prone to colluvium landslides and 26 cases have been collected in this paper, including 7 giant landslides. So far, some reseach on colluvium landslide has been carried out, but the development regularities and failure modes of colluvium landslide in the Three Goreges Reservior need to be generalized. Firstly, the development regularities of colluvium landslides in this area, such as geological regularities(including stratum lithology, slope height, slope gradient, slope type, depth of slip body, depth of slip zone) and triggering factors, were studied in this paper. Secondly, based on the deep-displacement monitoring, failure modes of colluvium landslides in this area was explored according to the properties of slip-surface, slip-zone, deep-displacement, landslide activity and macroscopical mechanics. Based on the slip-surface properties, the failure modes can be divided into major slip-surface slide and sub-major slip-surface slide; From the aspect of slip-zone properties, the failure modes can be categorized into integrality failure mode, section-type failure mode and localized failure mode; Similarly for the deep-displacement properties, the failure modes can be classified into anteverted type, retrogressive type and horizontal-slide type. As to the landslide activity properties, the failure modes can be divided into V-shape, D- shape, B- shape, R- shape and fluctuation-shape. From the aspect of macroscophical mechanics, the colluvimu landslides can be classified into slip-body controlling type,slip-body and slip-surface controlling type. It has been indicated by engineering practices that the exploration of landslide failure-modes is key to the mitigation and treatment of landslides. Thus, this paper will act as a reference for the study of colluvium landslides in the Three Gorges Reservoir. |
