Analysis The Forming And Developing Of The Geological Thoughts Of Ancient China Though Chinese Ancient Documents

As a kind of scientific natural science ,geology is not found in China. But in China people begin to think about geological thought and natural environment long ago. May be sages once thought it ever ,may be it is just in a vast amount of original material ,not be considered in logical .But this is just the feature of ancient geological thought in China .This paper wants to study the Chinese ancient geological thoughts which included in amounts of ancient original material and to find the conditions of how those thoughts and relations developing.Firstly I sum up the original material about the ancient geology in order from primitive society to the Qing dynasty .Then compare the same and the difference .Then I begin to analysis the thoughts of ancient geology .I start in several parts ,including ancient mythology,ancient idea about cosmos and earth,the phenomenon about the changing between land and ocean which had been written in ancient material .The conclusion is that it is the thoughts of developing from ancient geology . Secondly ,in another way the paper talks about the ancient geological thoughts in Chinese ancient philosophy .There are two parts ,one is that it is a idea of not developing in ancient geology due to the thoughts of the ancient Chinese"Tianrenganying"idea; the other is that it is the thoughts of developing in ancient geology due to the thought of the ancient Chinese"Yinyangwuxing"idea which influence every parts of ancient Chinese science and technology . Then the thought changed into the main idea .The second important idea of the paper is that the comparation between the thoughts of ancient geology in oriental and western .From many parts ,for example , ancient idea about cosmos and earth,the ancient material,the ancient map-making ,and so on .The conclusion is that in ancient China the main idea in geology is developing .By contrast , in western ,the idea about science is stopped by the thoughts of religious .The reason is the impact of natural environment and the method of the thought .Finally the paper try to illustrate why the scientific geology is not founded in China in historic view .And then analysis the realistic sense of the ancient geological thoughts in modern society of China .And I want to encourage the idea of developing and harmony to all of the people today .
