Study On Desert Plant Parasitic Fungi In Tarim Basin

Investigation of parasitic fungi on desert plants in Tarim Basin was conducted in 2006～2007. A total of 1025 specimens were collected. Among 86 species obtained, 2 species are described as new, and 10 species are new to China. The genus Asperisporium was found for the first time in China. Latin description for the new species are given. The type specimens are deposited in the Mycological Herbarium of Xinjiang Agriculture University (MHAAC) and Mycological Herbarium of Tarim University (MHTRMU).
