Spectra properties of a new promising hyperbranched polyflubrene(HBPF) wereinvestigated with absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence emission and excitationspectroscopy and time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy. The results were as follows:1)The absorption peaks of HBPF were at 377 nm and 440 nm. 2)Six components ofHBPF fluorescence emission spectroscopy were obtained with Gauss-fitting in the caseof 377 nm excitation. They are 429 nm, 450 nm, 475 nm, 548 nm, 576 nm and 656 nm,their proportions were 5.52%, 8.77%, 6.99%, 13.80%, 55.32%and 9.60%,respectively. 3) The bright green light emission near 570 nm due to the effective energytransfer from fluorine to benzothiazole is the dominating component of HBPF emission.4) Fluorescence lifetimes of above six components were obtained with singleexponential fitting of fluorescence decay curves excited by 353 nm femtosecond laser, they are 0.65 ns, 0.69 ns, 0.75 ns, 3.65 ns, 3.86 ns and 4.06 ns, respectively.
