Optoelectronic technique is used in the monitoring of deep space craft.Deep space craft is an unlit object which reflects the sunlight.Based on radiation theory,theoretical value of solar irradiance in visible region of outside atmospheric layer is evaluated,thus ground irradiance calculation formulae for deep space craft are derived.The model of cylinder with solar battery panels is given.Taken TC-1 and Chang'e-1 as examples,their magnitude at different position is calculated.TC-1 is about 17 mag.at the range of 80000kin and Chang'e-1 is about 20 mag.at the range of 380000km.According to the parameters of telescope and the parameters of CCD detector,the formulae for limited magnitude of the telescope are derived.The limited magnitude is related with focus ratio,exposure,SNR etc.Taken the telescope with the diameter of 1.56m and 0.25m as examples,the limited magnitude of them is calculated.Using TDI mode,staring mode and tracking mode to different object observation,the magnitude and the position precision are obtained by processing and analyzing the real data. The theoretical variation trend is in agreement with the real data.Finally,the feasibility of optoelectronic method used in the monitoring of Chang'e craft is extrapolated.The problem is that the grasp of the object is quite difficult for various reasons.
