The cavitation phenomenon has already experienced several generations'understanding and researching from that it is discovered up to now. Until 1994 Russia manufactured the first supercavitating torpedo which speed can reach at 200kn successfully, this speed breaks the thinking of tradition that it only can up to 140kn under water, exciting the fever of study the supercavitation in many countries. Under such background ,in this article supercavitating drag and supercavitating forces are studied; supercavitating torpedo reliability are analyzed. The subject comes from the foundation research of important project. The main contributions are as follows:1) Drag and forces of supercavitation are researched. Referring to result of experiment of foreigner scholar, drag coefficient formulation and drag of aixsymmetry slender body are summarized. Referring to foreigner schaolars'result of research, forces of supercavitating body are predigested.2) For the third cabin structure system, using the shell panel of the Finite Element Method, the static response of structural system is analyzed.3)Calculation procedures are written for FEM, SFEM of the shell structure, the calculation method for structural reliability index mentioned above. Six restricts are considered in these procedures.4)The sensitivity analysis emphasize the goodness of SFEM. Considerded the material intensity panel thickness, panel longness, panel width and loads as stochastic variables, Taylor expansion SFEM is adopted to analyze the influence of stochastic variables to the nodal displacement, and we compare the different effects of the different variables to the nodal displacement. But because of variouse reasons, the information of cavitation research and supercavitating torpedo reliability is very limited in public literature. Especially in the domestic ,this research is started, still be placed in to the comprehension and summaries of the foreigner literature. Therefore, this article is very important for the other research and the design of supercavitating torpedo structure.
