Research On The Geospatial Data Management Of Grid-GIS Platform

Based on the problems of large quantities geospatial data processing, access and integration, the combination technique of geospatial data processing and data integration in grid computing environment are described. According to the geospatial data access and integration theory as well as geospatial data service publishing method, the mechanism of geospatial data processing under grid computing and storage has been researched. The theory of upgrading geographic information system functions to web service with the help of web processing service specification. The design of GIS architecture under grid computing environment and the system prototype of geospatial data access and processing from web service are realized. Make full use of the open source libraries of grid computing and web service to research on the infrastructure of next generation geographic information system. The geospatial data publishing mechanism via web service and GIS desktop application under grid computing environment have been accomplished to prepare for the practical usage.
